Our Show Goats

2007 Season 2006 Season 2005 Season 2004 Season 2003 Season 2002 Season 2001 Season

The 2002 Season

In June at the first show we went to this year, the judge said about all of our entries "This goat is not in show condition." And went by him/her to put a fat, shiny goat in the winning places. OK. They really weren't as fat, shiny and well-prepared as the other goats there. We went home and fed those goats heavy, taught them to lead and did all we could for months to keep their feet trimmed and keep their hair in shape.  Our results in November at the second show were patriotic - all red, white and blue ribbons!

Our top goat is 7A+ Alazan, eight months old.
The son of Honey Girl and Liveoak

The yearling nanny we chose to show is 7A+ Crystaldew.
Daughter of Honey Girl and Rainey.

Our senior nanny is 7A+ Japonica, four years old
full sister to Bronze Champion 7A+ Stetson

And we musn't forget 7A+ Big Chief who came home so puffed up from winning a blue ribbon that he started trying to beat up on all the little girl kids....
