We're glad that Jim Brickler bought Gingersnap and turned her into a show goat!  She won a blue ribbon her first time out in Indiana.  In Arthur, Illinois, she won Junior Grand Champion.

Pardon our wardance, but we finally went to a show!
And 7A+ Warbonnet won Reserve Grand Champion Yearling Buck!
East Texas Goat Raisers - Jacksonville, Texas - July 24, 2004

Rick Vincent sent us this picture of the Grand Champion Market Goat of the 2004 Pike County, Ohio, Fair.  The wether is a son of 7A+ Nolan, the billy Rick bought at the 2003 Family Reunion Sale.  Eighty-seven wethers were entered in the competition.

At the Seven A Plus Family Reunion Sale last year Mackey Farms bought the high selling adult nanny - DSM Picadilly.  This spring they have two prize-winning billy kids from her.  Dillon and his brother Nitro have won first and second in their class both times they've been shown.  Dillon went on to win Jr. Grand Champion at the Grant County Goat Show - June 5th, 2004, when he was just eight weeks old.

Picadilly herself placed 2nd and 3rd in two shows while she still had those two big boys on her.  Bobby Mackey said they are planning to let her try again once her kids are weaned.  Mackey Farms have Pine Hill Goats in Lewis County Kentucky.

One of our favorite bottle goats is 7A+ Gretchen, shown here last fall, very full of triplet kids, as she prepared to start the long trip to Rangely, Colorado, to make her new home at Udder End Farm.  With her kids grown off, Gretchen stepped out to win Grand Champion Senior Doe at the Junior Show of the Rocky Mountain Meat Goat Show, May 7.  Marvin Shurley was the judge, and it was set up to be judged as a quest for solid, hardy, breeding characteristics, a commercial show, according to Jeannie Peterson

We're proud of Granite and Anemone's grandson!  Only two months old and already Reserve Grand Champion Junior Buck at two different shows!  Prophet Isaiah is the son of a 7A+ billy from Granite and Anemone that the Teels bought by a telephone bid at last year's Family Reunion Sale for their Prophet Boer Goat herd.  Joshua Teel showed Isaiah.
