These wethers
were
award-winners
in the Shawano

Wisconsin that
took place Labor

Grand Champion

the Badger State

Both wethers are

Another customer winner...
Caitlyn Wade and Butternut.. |
Caitlyn Wade of Colfax,
Illinois, has been winning
shows with a son and a
daughter of 7A+ Stardust.
This picture is from an
earlier show where they won,
but Caitlyn also won
Champion Junior Doe with
Butternut at their county
show.

When the judge
quizzed Caitlyn
about who
Butternut's parents
were and how she
took care of the
goats, Caitlyn's
answers were so
knowledgeable and
fluent the judge was
very impressed. She
told Caitlyn's
parents that it was
obvious Caitlyn had
worked with those
goats for some time.
She and Flash
appeared in the
costume class as
Wonder Woman and
Flash. Her mother
Cindy has promised
us a picture of
those two super
heroes.

Rick Vincent who has Cedar
Valley Boer Goats in
Peebles, Ohio, sent us this
picture of a wether from 7A+
Nolan who won Grand Champion
at the Adams County Fair.
There were 88 wethers in the
competition. One of Nolan's
son won Grand Champion
against the same number of
wethers at the Pike County
Fair last year.
|
When we first saw
those three young
ladies in the
picture we thought
Rick was sending us
the picture of
beauty contest
winners, but then we
remembered the
wether who was last
year's winner also
had three glamorous
young ladies in his
picture.

One of our favorite
customers, Taylor
Graves, chose wisely
when she decided on
7A+ Annie Louise.
She and her
well-trained goat
won the champion
trophy for
Showmanship at the
Eastern Regional
show for
International Boer
Goat Association. |
